About Habitelligence

Spanning 86 million owner-occupied homes in the U.S., today’s homeowners shoulder the responsibility of maintaining the critical systems that keep their households running. Yet, many investments in energy, climate control, and air and water treatment are made hastily—often with little research or full reliance on professionals. As a result, many homeowners lack a clear understanding of available technologies and their impact on performance, sustainability, and costs.

Habitelligence provides data-driven insights to bridge this gap, helping homeowners better understand emerging technologies and real-world experiences. With a more informed approach, they can make smarter, long-term decisions that improve their home’s reliability and efficiency.

Core Focus Areas

Drawing from nationwide homeowner survey data, Habitelligence focuses on three core areas:

Home Energy

Exploring the evolution of smart home energy infrastructure, from solar collection and battery storage to next-generation inverters, EV charging, and AI-driven energy management systems. We track innovations that enhance efficiency, resilience, and homeowner control over power generation and consumption.

Climate Control

Tracking the latest advancements in home climate control, including ultra-efficient heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, high-performance boilers, smart furnaces, and AI-driven airflow optimization. Our focus is on emerging technologies that improve efficiency, automation, and sustainability in these essential home systems.

Water & Air Treatment

Researching whole-home systems that enhance health, purity, and safety through cutting-edge water purification, air filtration, and smart environmental monitoring. We examine innovations that improve the essentials we breathe and consume every day.
